* Winter Vacation *

Over vacation, my best friend Sarah Wright had a little New Years Eve party at her house. Her family went to another party down the street, we ordered pizza, and we just hung out, so I admit we did have a great time. We did not really plan too far ahead so she only had a few people over. We have always been with our families for New Years, so we thought we would switch it up for a change. That idea was absolutely a good idea! We played the Kinect, card games, ate food, listened to music, talked, and just hung out. It was completely different counting down to 2013 with my friends instead of family. I guess I can admit that I missed hugging my family at midnight and wishing them a “Happy new year”, but they were the first people I called once hugging all of my friends. I would absolutely do this again; in fact we have plans to do this again next year at my house. Even though it was a small party, more like a “get together”, we definitely had a blast!
