Rejection,
I believe, plays a big role in ones life while growing up. Everyone has gone
through some sort of rejection or isolation some point in his or her lives.
This could have taken place anywhere from at school to at home. For example a
student at school, who has decided to take the initiative to try and make new
friends, spots a group of kids at a lunch table. She walks over and asks if she
can sit down. While the kids all say “Sure”, as she sits down they all get up
and walk away. This kind of rejection may hurt the little girl emotionally. Feeling
isolated from the rest of the school may damage someone inside. Not only will
her feelings be hurt, but maybe also her reputation. Seeing the group of
students reject the little girl may give other students the wrong idea. Thus, leaving
the little girl fending for herself.
