High School . . .

High school is thought of to be a life changing experience. This experience may be made up of good events or bad events all mushed together. In one particular order, determined by fate, these all add up to a big chunk of ones life. During my high school experience, I have encountered many academic struggles and achievements that have helped shape my aspirations.
The areas I struggle with the most in high school are my grades, time management, and extra curricular activities. I think it is fairly easy to get good grades including As, Bs, and sometimes Cs, but it is harder to keep a constant 100%. Keeping stable grades is even harder to do when one has horrible time management skills like me. From homework to studying, procrastination is the word that I live by. From keeping good grades to working on time management, it is very difficult to keep up with extra curricular activities like sports or clubs, which may be needed for acceptance into most colleges.
High school is not just about the struggles, but it also includes achievements. My freshman year was not taken seriously and I slacked off mostly with homework, but this year has been so much different! So far, during my high school experience I have managed to reach Honor roll for the first time in a while and am trying my hardest to keep it up. Not only have I kept up on my grades, but I have also been trying my hardest to become more social including in dance club, boxing, volleyball, and church.
Without a doubt, my high school “ups and downs” have shaped my academic aspirations. These goals may vary but must focus mostly on my grades. I hope to reach all “As” in all of my college courses. I also would like to receive honor roll for a whole year, not just one semester, four in a row. Lastly, I hope to participate in as many extra curricular activities as possible and keep my grades up at the same time.
My high school experience has shaped my aspirations and contains its many struggles and achievements. No matter how important I thought these happenings were, however they determine my fate and cannot be changed. These events have made me who I am today and have shaped the way I picture my future.
